I hope you've used the Mac OS before.

If I were you, I would check some of the various tech sites around because it seems that the latest version of the Mac OS has some critical flaws that are actually worse than many found in Vista so far.

Certainly are! I'm just messing around with the economy to stop new players complaining, and trying to get the quest to load as fast as I can possibly achieve it.

What are your experiences with the loading of the quest?

mine loads within 2 seconds of clicking explore... id say thats pretty great, but i dunno how it acts on dial-up

I reckon it will be reasonably fast on dialup.

I think the bottleneck is cpu speed.

I have tested it on:

- Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.80GHz <- months old laptop

- AMD Athlon XP @ ~1.40GHz <- years old workstation

- ARM @ ~600MHz <- Ipod Touch(loads, but takes about 20 seconds - may be due to mobile Safari browser not caching, and being extremely stripped down)

- Intel CeleronM @ 1.44GHz <- years old laptop.

My range of cpu speeds is hardly vast I have noticed that the faster the cpu, the faster the load. All tests were done over Wifi @ 8Mb/s ADSL Broadband, however, the ipod touch is fast, but not as chirpy as it should be on an 8Mb/s line, so I think it's getting a weaker signal.
