i agree completely...

a good example would be: if you were to rob a bank, knowing that they have three security guards, it would be difficulty if not impossible. however if you were to wait till they went to lunch then it wouldnt matter if they had 300 guards, because if they arent there at the time of the robbery, they wont effect it!

all that changing it would actually change is the power at the time...it might cause you to show less power now, but if your members become active again, you power will go right back up... your not loosing anything, its just making the list more acurate

Except the fact that they are still a part of the guild, regardless of not logging in for 3 days (smiley)

It's just an easy way to make it so that weaker, undeserving guilds can defeat the guilds that are way out of their true power range. Sure, it makes the Guild Vs. Guild raid system more dynamic, but it also takes away from the sense of progression within the system itself.

Personally if you are outside of the 72 hour comfort zone then you are still able to gain full advantage of the high powered help within the guild during attacking and defending situations.

Th entire guild raid system will be thrown wide open if the 72 hour rule is to be implemented and I for one would look forward to it as I am the main starter and setter off of all of our raids

OK, spank and Sociopath know what I'm talking about. I honestly think pummel and I are thinking of two different things.

Thats a good point, Sociopath! The guild still benefits from active members helping during attack.

Well, I'm happy now. Something to stir things up a bit, and still a reason for the 28 inactivity of guild members.

I'll see about getting it implemented. Should only require the changing of the power formula - hopefully I've been clever and put it in one function, rather than pasting it like a lazy moron. I used to do that a lot. Kills you when you have to edit stuff.

This version is very neat though(smiley)

edit... The list is useless to gameplay now... After making it show actual gang power it would serve as a useful tool used in raids. I really don't know how to stress my opinion on this any clearer. It seems as if you think it would have taken Slaughterhouse off the top of the list when in fact I highly doubt it would have. You have 14k power by yourself which trumps all but 3 maybe 4 gangs by yourself. Add to that your actual active players and you should have still been on top, but 55k was an exagerated figure which in no way showed up in actual gameplay. Just like 40k power is an exagerated figure for both us and IW.

Agreed. I see some of King Pummel T's point about them being in your guild, but the fact is, if they are proper guild, with a nice, strong membership, 3 days is enough time to log in and show your support.
It can be changed, and changed back. It is just a ranking formula, and one that is best served if it actually shows a meaningful, and compet*tive value.
