I've played some games where there is simply a limit on how much money a player can bank. And I'm not talking about an upgradeable limit that can continue to grow. Everyone has the same limit. If someone has hit that limit and still has credits in their hands then they can't bank it and it is there for anyone who can beat them to steal.

Kind of a easy way past developing another skill that may or may not work in the long run. (smiley)

Digging up this thread because I want to know if this is still planned?

I loved the bank theft action from the previous round(s)  (Been a while.. Forget which one exactly.. wait.. which round is this again?? haha)

I was thinking also though.. What if we added a sort of tax on banked money..? Should be percentage based.. And higher for players with more cash in the bank. Sort of like the way some savings accounts work at some banks, I think. Or similar to the income tax.. You could even funnel the money from the bank tax into another area to redistribute the wealth to an extent.. Either the lottery or random prizes.. Heck, you could even set up a system to give the tax money to players of a certain (low) level range, which would probably mean that it would flow back toward the top of the ladder where it originated.. Kindof a money flow system..

People were talking about adding some money sinks to the economy to help some, so I was thinking of this.. If we get bank theft ability again, we could inst*tute this on a secondary bank system that is immune to theft, to allow someone to save money if they want, but still discourage saving.. Or something like that.. Dunno if it would really be useful/adviseable though... What do you think? Did that make any sense??

Also like Kuza's idea of a bank limit..

Your skill at talking is most impressive, but must you so blatantly flaunt it?

If you really look at it now though, points are a HUGE credit sink. Problem is some people (JD) don't care to spend credits on points. Blah blah blah, all makes it back to the top of the ladder lol.

Yeh, everyone spends tons on points, but not really a sink.. Because the money just goes straight to the players selling the points.. A sink usually takes away money, not transfers, I think. But yeh, you're right about the money up the ladder. That is why i was thinking about the tax. Because esp. JD should be taxed, because he just hoards all that cash haha. And if we had some way to give the tax funds to the players at the bottom of the ladder, we could have a more refined economy in-game.. Maybe..
