understandable.......it just seams like there needs to be a way to make it sorta even for everyone to have a chance at winning with raiding......the idea above is an idea.

Hopefully more come in (smiley)

Interactivity by both guilds is definitely the goal, but it is the time-frame that makes it unfeasable. You end up making guild raids so long that they aren't worth the effort. Raiding an NPC is quicker and at least they drop treasure.

Perhaps guild vs guild should be an entirely different concept to guild vs npc.

well, also, how long with this pre-launch period be? because it it still hard to alert all you guild members to come on to join a defending raid, and people aren't going to be able to check 24/7 to see if they are being raided, but a guild can form a  raid against another at any time.

tbh, I don't really even like guild vs guild raiding... but, the system in place right now is prob the best it can be

That was the point I was making too. You would have to have a "forming" period large enough to cover every timezone, which would slow the rate of raiding down hugely. If the rewards are closer to Boss raids, the time-frame has to be also, and it forces the interactivity to be one-sided, it seems.

Welp thats why ideas are good and harmless lol becasue it gets us talking about things that work and dont work (smiley)

So now to try and figure out how to get this to work...thanks to all for the input (smiley)
