I'm getting a bad habbit to reply on post's where probably a forum admin should reply, but i feel obliged to write this 
Why not let CK implement the changes he is talking about, then we try that for some months and figure out what could be changed and improved over time? 
This terretory idea is getting pretty interesting, and it will bring alot of changes to both gameplay and gametime, so one step at the time could be in it's place.

Really, Cyberkilla has had this guilds HQ and territory thing on his agenda for a long time, now the "specs" are ready and he just started / will be soon starting implementing this.
It's sure to have a huge range of customizations for the guild, so don't worry about that.
The best would be, as marcaja pointed out, to just wait and see what the "offer" looks like, get used to the new system and then see what ideas pop out next.
