in response to ck's whole detailed outline of the new futurerp model. ur basically making it into a FULL BLOWN rpg. wat do u mean when u say more interactive. do u mean like, u can see your character walking around on the screen and u can move to avoid attackers and w/e?

I will deliberately steer clear of that side of things this time, after the quest fiasco.
I wasted two months on the animated quest, only to realise it wouldn't scale up when more players were on
The game will make as much use of things like AJAX and Javascript as possible.
I'm going to set the character types to something more generic, like ghost, android, etc, like it used to be.
I will be changing some of the item slots, and the silhouette behind them will be different(and possibly animated slightly) for each character time.
The whole MUD/RPG ideal of being able to explore, go north/south/east/west, speak to characters in the world, and go on adventures will be supported.
Actually, it already is supported, but I want it to be more polished and easier to develop upon.
The quicker it is to make an item, skill, or a quest, the more I will be inclined to do
