I'm trying hard to get it working by then, but it might overrun by a day or two.

I have the project homepage, profiles, todo list, comment boards, news, map browser, map folder editor, and map editor finished.

I need:
-Events extension to map editor.
-NPC Creation/Editing
-Treasure list editor
-Item/Mod Prototype creator
-Tileset editor.

Most of those things are a few hours work each. Not so bad.
The real issue is in deciding how the hell I plan to implement the interfaces, what I want people to be able to do, etc. However, I am getting a bit more confident with my designs now, so it shouldn't take as long as it sounds like it will(smiley)

You gonna give us(them) your "item level limit formula" or are you gonna let people try to limit themselves?

its a submission system, not a creation system... you only submit the pics in the right format, so cyber can easily add the stats and insert them into the game, so the formula is irrelevent

I had two ideas in mind.

First idea was just to allow the submission of artwork - I have implemented this, for those who are not building maps.

The second idea was to create a system of credits.

Each statistic of an item will have a different multiplier - meaning, the more powerful you make a particular statistic of an item, the more credits are used.

The number of credits allowed can be determined by the item cla** desired.


I am trying hard to make this all in a way that will permit some players to help at some point.
Currently, I am working on the tileset creator/editor.


I cannot tell you when I will be able to allow players to create items again, but it will be as soon as I can - I have to prioritize my work, so I might pause efforts on this editor in order to throw another ~50 items, and a few mods into the game.

I also have plans for a space station, and the expansion of the skull island maps(such as the volcano maps).

I really wish I could give you a straight answer about what I am doing here, but I honestly don't know(smiley)
The only thing I do know, is that I want to improve gameplay, and get as many things to do in the quest as possible, whilst keeping to some kind of back-story.
