The only way I know of currently, (aurum if there is, enlighten me), of checking how much power you have vs a raid's is by being the last one to join or check the page before it is started.

It would be a useful addition to show the initial power of the guild vs the raid in the war log so people could easily check how much power there was.  That would help us players decide which raids we can do.
