I'm just curious, but I've noticed over the last few days when I run through my bounties...

Air is roughly same strength as me lately, same level (or only one level difference) and all that. But the whole time I have had 310k speed and he only has 305k.

So why is it everytime I attack him, he moves first? Isn't speed supposed to mean who goes first? But I've noticed that it's not even a chance of me going first, he ALWAYS goes first, so what's the deal with that? I have 5k more and still go 2nd? Oo

Just curious how speed figures into the equation (smiley)

Having higher speed doesn't guarantee you going first, unless it's way higher. Speeds are randomized by ±5% in attacks. In your case, that means you have 57.51% chance to go first against him. Him going first pretty much all the time against you is improbable, but not impossible.

P.S. the speed randomizing isn't in effect in raids, so if you have even slightest speed advantage, go for it.

Kewl thanks for the info.

Is there an easy way to see how much speed we have in a raid total? HP/Atk is shown, but not speed, or is it hidden?

You can add it up per person by checking on their contact card.

I knew you could do that, but that doesn't sound like fun when trying to check total speed each time 

Edit: Well according to my logs, I now have 5 attacks against Air in last 5 days and 5 losses for me. If you say I have a 57% chance of going first, I'll believe you, but it suuuuure doesn't look like it xD
