And the main reason you came up with this idea is because you were mad we were raiding DE and you're looking for a way to stop that.

That's very correct. I don't believe I ever tried to disguise that. Like I said, it was a frustration idea.

The reasoning behind an idea does not affect the validity of the idea itself. Instead of arguing about why Boss Man came up with this idea how about we just stick to discussing the merits of the idea itself. I understand the thought of the idea, but I don't think it would be fair for an individual to not be able to join a guild raid because they might have ONE ally in that guild. Instead, how about for each ally a person has in the opposite guild their attack power goes down by a fixed %. This would emulate them not attacking their ally, or something like that. This would also only affect the attacking guild so as not to balance the effects,

I'm not sure what the right answer is here. I suppose you could say that allies won't strike each other during the raid, as a matter of principle? (smiley)

Whilst I can see the merit of enforcing the alliance between players, in practice, it would probably annoy more people than it appeased. When you raid, you're just one of many. The impact of the raid is shared between the losing members, with no particular emphasis on anyone specific.

It is a weird situation though. I don't really know what the proper solution is.

Easy, remove the ally feature.
