- Changes to NPC imagery are not immediate due to browser caching
Wed Jan 9 10:12:06 EST 2013
I went and changed an image on one of my NPC's on my map in the world builder. However I have to clear out my browser stuff to even see it, otherwise it displays the old image. Is this supposed to happen this way? Shouldn't the new image be overwriting the old image?

Where does the cached version persist? When attacking too? I'll look into it.

Yes on the attack screen. I see it fine when I go in to view the NPC information in the World Builder, but on the attack screen its still showing the old image.

Its also not showing on the raid screen for raid bosses. It continues to display the old image unless I clear out my browser then it shows the new image.

I wonder if he ever tried using F5. I know when you change your own avatar you have to hard refresh to update it on the home page and forums. But when you attack after changing your image it just takes a while to update...
