I believe you are a little mislead on your idea of "intellectual property" Anything created on this website, for the purpose of use on this website is solely the property of CK. He allows people the right to restrict certain things, and maybe even in his eyes he views it as their property, but for all "legal" purposes its all CK's property.

That being said, I understand the position of not opening them up, and even deleting them, because that is something that is stated when you become a preferred player, that if you lose your preferred player status you hold no future rights to your created content.

Bottom line is I just know alot of the maps that are pa**word protected and locked were created by people who have been inactive for a long period of time, or have been banned for one reason or another and I just thought it would be helpful to the community and less wasteful to see that content "rot" so to speak.

I think you should re-read the preferred player page.

For what exactly? If you read the information in the world builder page it says that if you lose your preferred player status that it could lead to the possibility of losing access to your created maps...I'm not sure what you're wanting me to read.
