Hmm what about Pets? to Help you in fighting? So you can defeat bosses, and NCPS Alot Easier? Buy these for free points and they level up Same as you and Gain Powers maybe??

This is just a rough Idea,  You could have Guild PETS! As something for Guilds.. Somthing Space Realated Though.. They Can help Towards Raids, and Incoming Raids, Such like More Defence, Attack power, So you could be on the defensive side? and the Attacking Side, ??? Hmm just a brief idea, Feel Free to Post your ideas

I'm sure everybody would be interested in a feature like this. It would take months (maybe even years )  to get it up and running though XD

Another idea that has been brought up before and i believe that has been posted.

Not trying to be Mr. Buzzkill but before ya post any new ideas ...try and go back and read from the beginning all the ideas that have been mentioned in the past and then come up with new ones.

hmm what i do, is just post some idea's as will take ages to locate and see if other idea's have been posted similar, and really just refreshing Idea's As maybe not seen in the pa**ed, im just posting here and there, But Sdiddy73 I only do what i Can, and post and refresh i dont what has been said but you do.. So Maybe if you could direct to me where it says this And Locate it then thats cool...

This is by no means a new idea. We've had this discussed on and off for years.

Functionally, it's quite simple. Programmatically, it's simple. The issue is in design. The design has to be such that it doesn't conflict with existing features, making things unintuitive, inconsistent, or redundant. They can't be overpowering.

The other thing is, it's one of this ideas that can fly off at a tangent, because there are so many ideas that can be spawned from it.

E.g. having your pets appear as NPCs on the maps, summoning them, trading them, fighting with them, fighting them against each other, raiding with them, upgrading them, giving them items to equip, supplies to improve their stats, health attributes meaning you have to heal them, and so on.

All of this stuff is easy to implement, but nightmarish to design.

Plus, because it can fan out so much in terms of functionality, you have to decide at which point to draw the line, because it can go from being an RPG where your character is the main thing, to being almost like Pokemon, where it's your pets that make or break you.

I agree with you CK, and sooner or later I might find posts like this, and I'll merge them into this one. For the meantime though, here is what I think.

A pet system would attract players that this game otherwise wouldn't. You look at the mult*tudes of extremely simple games put up on Yarolds. Most of the pets that you are feeding do nothing. 
Take Dragon Cave for example (since I "played" it for a while). As far as I could tell, you did nothing with your Dragons. You just had them. You could name them, and breed them, to create yet another egg that you post everywhere. Beyond that it was only for collection purposes.

This is how I think this should be done. A simple pet that grows as you grow. When you get EXP, so does the pet. The pet should have some turns, and credits per hour stats to make growing it worthwhile. But as far as changing your power, that would indeed become too complex and of course unfair to the players who have the time to attack. 
Beyond just attacking, clicks to your link should also give your pet the same amount of EXP. While a lot of players don't attack daily, they do receive link clicks. Feeding it points or CR seems like a simple mechanic as well to make sure that just players who attack won't have the most 'evolved' pets.

I could see a new leader-board stat tracking for pets.

To me it seems like design of the pets is what needs to be discussed (smiley)

All players (or maybe just PP) could be in charge of designing their pet for a price. 1st stage would be their "egg", but any unique version of it. For example a memory chip or a simple soul trapped in an ancient relic. Then they continue to design their pet through the different stages of it's level process.

It doesn't have to be incredibly complex, CK. A base implementation such as this is better than not having. Just like the world builder, features were added later as they started to make more sense to have, such as the white listed portals.

And I think having something like this will keep the dogs off you for a while (smiley)
