The labeled ingredients in the Cla**ic variety of Spam are: chopped pork shoulder meat with ham meat added, salt, water, sugar, and sodium nitrite to help "keep its color". The product has become part of many jokes and urban legends about mystery meat, which has made it part of pop culture and folklore.

Mmmm, sounds tasty

This book I'm currently into comes up with a theory as to why there is a high import of Spam into the Pacific Islands (incl. the Phillippines, where I grew up and learned to love fried Spam). The author tries to figure out why this is when these islands have numerous, healthier resources, not to mention, spam isnt as inexpensive as many might think... the conclusion he came up with was basically, at some point in history when the popularity of cannibalism was dying down, they found Spam to be the eligible subst*tute in taste to human flesh.

mmmmm, that tasty human flesh.

Mmmmm, human flesh (smiley)

Actually, on second thought I wont say anything else. This whole situation can get out of hand if the wrong people say anything (smiley)
