While I see where both of you come from, and agree on both of those. Receiving one present box at least, will still award players that can't be as active as you are. Nothing wrong with a free gift that could possibly give you a few points, credits, basic PP, or even a redeemable item for double exp?

yeh ive mentioned the 1 week free PP reward earlier too, it would be awesome 
all the free rewards for players that do not pay for the game are always awesome from their point of view, but those who pay for the content will normally be against it (dunno if it is this way in this game)
anyways, giving free "trials" of what you gain by paying a very low amount is a good way to protote the a game.
