Point Buying Badge

If a players buys X amount of points the you get a badge.

Points - 300 - 999 ( name -xxxxx)
Points - 999 - 1499 (name-xxxxx)
Points - 1500 - 1999 ( name -xxxxx)
Points - 2000 - 3999 (name-xxxxx)
Points - 4000 - 7999 ( name -xxxxx)

ect ect to recognize the players that do spend a ton of money in game (smiley)

Also badges for players that have bought the basic, advanced and ultimate memberships.

I was thinking of something like this also. I was going to post it, then saw this so that's good. Going off of this my idea was:

Supporter: Buying points at least once (Thanks for supporting the game!)

Preferred Basic, Advanced, Ultimate: Buy PP at least once

Spender: Buy all the upgrades in the shop (All your upgrades are belong to me!)

I find the problem with this would be having to award retroactively, but as I can see with attack rewards, you can't do this?

I see where you're going with it. Here's my interpretation, for what it's worth:

  • Preferred Player - badge for becoming preferred player at least once.
  • Basic Preferred Player [1-X months] - badge for becoming a basic preferred player.
  • Advanced Preferred Player [1-X months] - badge for becoming an advanced preferred player.
  • Ultimate Preferred Player [1-X months] - badge for becoming an ultimate preferred player.
  • Point Buyer - badge for supporting the game by buying points
You'd get a vague badge with no counter on for both PP and Points, but also a badge which shows off the total number of months/pts bought. Just to clarify, I mean milestones rather than specific amounts. Perhaps 1 month, 2 months, 3 ,4 ,5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 75, 100..? Something along those lines. The same with points too. As long as we don't end up with more than a handful of badge variations, it'll be okay to do it like this.

It's not really that big of a deal to have badges for different stages, because people like to use them for decorative purposes almost as much as they do for showing off their highest variation of a badge.

Edit: I realise I've mostly repeated what has already been said, but hopefully in a more aggregate form (smiley)

To refer to your "active in chat" badge, I was just in chat for what had to be 4 days. I had a lot of back scroll. Sadly, I somehow click on "Log Out" at the bottom of the page...

Anyway, I was thinking a badge for "Lurking" in chat? (smiley)

Last man standing/to the bitter end -- remain in a guild for over 1 year, until it is disbanded.

Just an FYI, but I've inserted 33 badges into the database. They still need to be linked to objectives and given artwork, so you won't be able to get them just yet.

However, they're in, and I'm working on it. Wednesday night, I hope (smiley) Several of them are the same badge type, but different stages/levels. That said, there are a good amount of unique badge types, and more planned.

EDIT: Well, that was a fail. I'm still not finished with them, however, I've managed 18, with 15 more of this batch remaining. It's actually quite fun once I'm done a few of them:-)
