Not sure how much of a pain it would be but, I think it would be excellent if the maps you have favored (favorite) should show up at the top of the list on page one...

you can already use the filter to show only the places you have favorited

I'd like to make the page more efficient and useful though. Personally, I think it's the place launchpage page itself (where you click Visit) that needs some sprucing up

There's tons of info that could be added to it, like lists of vendors on the maps, quests offered, etc. Might make it more interesting

But in answer to your original suggestion, it might be a nice default, though we do technically already have the filter available.
