I had some trouble awarding a medal a few minutes ago. I awarded it once but nothing seemed to happed, so I figured I just didn't select which medal to use so I tried again. Then I got a message saying the player I had selected (from a drop-down menu, so no typo this time) didn't exist or was not in the guild. So I tried a third time and it told me the guild didn't have sufficient funds to award a medal.
The player I tried awarding it to didn't receive it but somehow our guild funds were depleted by the 5 million credits. I'm sure it's possible that I sent it to another player and will hear about it soon, but it just seemed odd that I got the error message saying that the player doesn't exist even tho I chose them from the menu and then the funds disappearing.
If it was my mistake it might be a good idea to have a log for stuff like this, so we know where the funds went and who actually did get the medal. Just thought CK needed something else to do. (smiley)

I've never seen this myself. Here's one possibility though:

- You sent it to the wrong person the first time.
- You pressed back on your browser, or refresh, and it selected -- CHOOSE PLAYER TO AWARD MEDAL TO --, which would have told you off as you didn't select a valid player.
- Then you checked your funds and realised that they were depleted, from the first medal(smiley)

EDIT: But yes, more detailed logs would be wise. It is a target of mine. I like logs

Well, you're kinda right about those possibilities.

The first time I tried sending the medal i didn't notice any error messages so I went on with what I was doing. I then noticed that we still had the funds in the guild bank so I asked if the player had received the medal, which they had not.

The second time I did everything like the first time but I then received the error message saying that they didn't exist, THEN I clicked the back button and tried a third time, and that's when it said our funds were too low.

So, I did use the back button, but only after I was already told the player didn't exist. O.o

tested this with IW's money XD
if you dont choose a player from the list, it does not award a medal to anyone but still consumes the credits

Quite possibly what happened. I simply forgot to select the players name the second time. So now a nice new medal is simply floating out there in oblivion. So sad. (smiley)

Thanks KIMC. Won't make that mistake again (and if I do I surely won't post complaining about it (smiley))
