Heh, brown-nosers always seem to latch on to the whole "let's diss Mike" bit.
First of all, if you're writing a rant at least use paragraphs to
separate your thoughts, or use bigger spaces between. I mean, if so many
people will b***h about Mike's legibility it seems fair to b***h about
yours, too.
But more to the point, it wasn't just Mike wanting me to come back. And
like I've said before, how were we wasting time by trying to push
someone to progress this stale game in the right direction? How do you
think it started? Do you think we just up and started b***hing about
updates? No. We asked countless times to see any inkling of an update
and all we'd get was a vague "I'm working" or "I'm busy." Hell, Rusty
and me, and even Mike, used to sit in chat or invite him to a private
one to dish him ideas, and we had plenty of ideas. All of which got a
"I'll consider it" and then nothing was ever heard about it again. It's
very frustrating when you see something with so much potential, but
nothing actually being done with it.
Lol, and the world builder. Are you serious? Way to get the userbase to
make your content for you lol. And yes you're right, I don't give a
flying you-know-what about actually playing this game and the world
builder isn't going to do much to change that, but that whole "alone"
bit doesn't mean jacks***. It might have worked a year or two ago, but
an entire year going by and people still grinding the same mobs, raiding
the same npcs for the same items, and hitting the same people at the
same times, is way too long a time to get out an update even for someone
working by himself.
It's nearly done though, right? Ha. Watch how long it takes for him to
actually RELEASE the damn thing. Skills being redone ring any bells?
Didn't he have them on the test server? Ready to be ported and blah
blah? I know the example's been exhausted, but it never ceases to make
me laugh.
Don't really care about the "don't talk s***" thing as it has nothing to
with him being banned, or of any real significance other than you
thinking he's talking about you.
And I don't know if your feeble mind can wrap your head around this, but
maybe, just maybe, he was looking to get banned. Makes perfect sense,
seeing as how he was pretty much done with the game in general anyways.
I almost thought you were ranting about the game when I saw the topic,
maybe something like 5-10%... And not about an individual player. Oh
wells. =/
