I think it would be great if you could delete a thread you started in the ideas section. Like say I start one and then later realize it is a crappy idea, Then I could just delete it.

You can delete threads, well, not physically, but other members except for admins and mods couldn't see it anymore.

Yeah, if it's a dead-end thread, a mod will clean it up if you delete the post yourself. I don't think we should give everyone the ability to kill their threads. Might be abused

Ok it was just a thought, and yeah I see where some peeps might try abusing it.

How most other forums that I've been on seem to work is that if no-one has posted in a thread you made, and you delete your post, then the thread is deleted with it. However, if someone has posted a reply on a thread, then if you delete your post it'll only delete your first post, leaving all the replies as they are.
