Points shouldnt be so expensive, there should be an in-game source like a bank, where you exchange credits for points and vice versa, the way it is right now is biased towards those who are long time players, who are stocked on points, it should be possible to purchase points for a certain fee time and time again. Inflation shouldnt exist in a game such as this. (this is all just my opinion, no offense is meant to anyone)

There is a in-game source of points.
You just need to spent $ on them.

Points aren't supposed to be a currency anyway ( from what i've heard )
No one forces you to buy points with those prices. you can just earn all of them by yourself.

but yeh, you should really add a merchant which sells and buys points for certain prices
because if there isn't one, the richest players just can totally control the economy and raise point prices how high they want

I support adding a merchant which buys and sells points for certain prices. ( for example, sells for 100k, buys for 90k )

Well, I'm not sure about this.

Perhaps points haven't reached their true price yet. If the big boys start selling too high, nobody will buy them and the joke will be on them.

It's a shame you can't block certain people from buying from you though(smiley)

Thing is, people will buy them, and they'll keep buying them as long as they need to keep their credits safe. The bank is a viable option but with 3 initial deposits and 6 max, you're forced to spread them out over long periods of time. And in that time, it's very likely that you'll be attacked.

Points are an untouchable a**et, so it makes sense that people buy them to keep their income safe.

As for a solution, aside from putting something in to regulate the price of points, there isn't much you can do. Maybe limit the amount of points players can have on point trading? Or something along those lines?

They won't be a faux currency for much longer. I'll be putting a stop to that. The bank isn't perfect by a long shot, but the restrictions it has in place are only there to stop the money disappearing instantly after an attack.

Point Trading and Trade Block both need a little rethink on the implementation front...
