Overview
As some of the older players may remember back in the realm of Round 3 we had a tournament feature, which in my opinion was biased towards the more powerful players such as KingPummelT, Louby, Wolfmother, Walkin Dead etc etc.
I propose a brand new tournament feature, coming from a total different angle compared to the old system, I will attempt to explain my suggestion in further detail.
Things To Consider
With a new tournament, we need a brand new system, a system that will accompany all levels without being biased to the higher leveled players.
For this I suggest instead of taking players level into consideration, we use a totally new level called "Tournament Level" (for lack of a better name)
This level will be wiped at the end of each tournament so every player starts on a level playing field for each tournament, I will explain abit later on.
A new stat called "Tournament Training Points" (also for lack of a better name) will also need to be created, I will explain this later on also.
A new world may need to be created or re-use an unused world and revamp it calling it "Tournament World" or something along those lines, more will be explained later.
A new stat could be created called "Tournament Ranking" to rank yourself among the FRP Community.
With the tournament feature you can also add in some new tournament only skills which will help you to win your battles etc.
How To Enter
To enter the tournament you must have a minimum level of lets say 20 to prevent people from creating multi-accounts for the purpose of cheating within the tournament, if you have the required minimum level you then pay an admission fee to enter lets say 5,000,000 credits or 500 points or whatever you choose.
When you have paid your fee you get a tournament ticket so you can then enter the tournament.
Tournament Features
Tournament Points
Once you have entered the tournament the real work begins, you will be allocated some "Tournament Training Points" lets say 100 to start you off, these are used to help build your "Tournament Level" up by doing tasks and objectives on "Tournament World".
Such tasks may include killing X of an NPC on "Tournament World" or collecting X supplies.
You could also try your hand at problem and puzzle solving to help train your "Tournament Level" or a simple feature from Rift Wars where you just press a button to train your level (the boring method)
When you have used all of your "Tournament Training Points" you have to then either buy some from a "Tournament World Trader" for a hefty price, or complete quests/objectives for the inhabitants of "Tournament World".
Such quests/objectives may include killing X of an NPC on "Tournament World" or collecting X supplies.
The more points you earn, the more you can train, the better you will be within the tournament.
Defeating NPC's on "Tournament World" may also allow you to gain "Tournament Training Points" to train with.
Tournament Rounds
The tournament will not begin until all tickets have been purchased depending on the active community it could be 16, 32 or 64.
Each round of the tournament will be processed at a specific time of the day, preferably a time thats acceptable for all players, which is difficult but can be achieved. No player input will be needed for this.
If you win you will recieve your battle "Tournament Ranking Points" and you will receive a set amount of "Tournament Training Points" to help you for the next round, however if you lose your battle you will be out of the tournament gaining no "Tournament Ranking Points" or "Tournament Training Points" and you will have to wait till the next tournament to play again.
This will continue to be the same throughout each round until there is a final winner who will win a prize that will be pre-decided by Cyberkilla or all of the admission fee's totalled up.
The winner will also gain a big sum of "Tournament Ranking Points" for thier efforts.
Final Thoughts
This is a vague overview of my tournament idea, something which I have had in mind for a long time. This is the first time I have actually had time to explain it in some detail, although there is alot more I can add to this, I want to see initial reactions and suggestions to this, then I will add more.
Yes, this idea can be bettered in various ways, so all suggestions are welcomed critical or not.
Thanks, Storm Trooper.

this would be good... but it seems the time it would take to implement all of this into the game would be very long. it would just get put on the to-do list which is quite long as is from the looks of things...cyber needs to get some more coding staff to help speed up the game haha but seeing something like this would be nice because it gives you one more thing to do besides attack in the world and SKL

Storm i love the idea Yeah it would take time to make but in the long run yeah it would add a whole new dimension to game that it needs......
Now with the level 20 min level ( multi accounts ) there are people now building up characters in game way past that so they can put all in one guild...when a player goes inactive for a while a new one pops up in there place gaining levels..then they stop and wouldnt ya know the inactive is back again. Im not saying everyone that is inactive doing that but seems like there a ton of cheaters here playing...
But anyways thats a whole diff topic......Storm....list some more ideas,.it would be good to start like ya said at zero but then you build up your tourny char....so there would be a tourny char and a real work player......keep the tourny char to a max level but the stuff he gets from winning tourneys diff stuff in game like weopons and armour can make the diffrence whether you win or lose....
A turn based attack where you can click on a weapon ( sword or axe lets say ) and then they can click on ha health vial if they get to low or click on a item ( like a grenade or bomb) that will do damage......

Nice idea's Sdiddy, I was thinking along the same lines...
Tournament only items could be introduced, new quests, objectives, mini-games, skills, its what FutureRP needs all in one go.
There are many ways to expand the tournament, many ideas to add, features to implement etc.
Lets hope everyone contributes a little bit to help FutureRP grow alot.
