ok it's probably not a big deal and has probably been mentioned before but i think the attack and exp ratio's are kind of off for instance today i had over 1k attacks... im currently a level 39 from those 1k attacks ive managed to gather 34k exp. the higher levels can manage triple the exp, with 2/3 the amount of attacks, i know they require more to level up but at the same time it makes my attacking seem worthless... but i know somewhere it equals out and ppl will say if i was a higher level i would understand but right now i just feel like venting i guess. it doesnt seem fair and seems 1k attacks should be worth a lot more exp for someone my level but like i said before im sure someone will post a perfectly good explination to this and all my worries will go away but in the mean time.... im not a happy camper
ok im done venting.....

I'll be THAT guy. But hey dont be down. Us bigger people were your size once too. So we had to endure the same things.
The higher level you become, the higher leveled NPCs you can attack. The higher leveled NPCs give you more experience. Basically it's incentive for the smaller folk to grow more. Move up the ranks. You become level 40-70 you can go attack on Prato and t*tan. Once you get in the 70+s you can go attack on Emerald Moon. Like little check points for you to aim for.
If you dont like where you are currently attacking then just keep growing so you can get off those planets and upgrade to bigger ones. One downside to growing bigger is the higher you get.... when you get attacked and lose.... you lose more experience. BUT on the plus side.... the higher you get level-wise.... the less amount of people attack you. Like me, I'm currently getting attacking 1 or 2 times a day. Only guy beating me is Jackkdanialz. There's plenty of plus sides to getting to level 100 though. Because its a process getting there and takes some work.... by the time you hit 100 youve probably came across plenty of points. Which one of the upgrades you probably have gotten would be the "experience an hour" one, PLUS the INC set (level 100+ set) gives you a good chunk of experience an hour as it is.
Just keep busting hump and moving up the ladder. Sure it's tough to win contests and compet*tions based on experience gained... but the only way to fix that is by putting in work yourself. And i reiterate that the larger accounts in this game were all small once too.... they just put in the work. Look at Saul, he's shooting right up the ladder. You can too.

Yeah when you're level 20-30 the amount of NPC's you actually have to attack is quite small as well which can hamper things because you have to sit there and wait for them to respawn.

There is a diminishing returns on exp gain. Every level you gain makes stronger NPCs available to you, and the exp gain increases.... However, the amount it increases shrinks until it disappears entirely.
Whilst this is happening, every level takes more and more experience to reach. The exp gain increase eases the burden slightly, but it is still getting harder and harder to reach the next level.
It's not like, level 20 to 21 needs 5,000 attacks and level 120-121 only needs 2,000... They will still need to do more attacks than you in the grand scheme of things.
Also, it acts as a deterrent - a high level player can get more exp by attacking enemies his own size than hitting n00b players and low level npcs.
I'm certain there is room for adjustment even now, but the idea that a weak player has to do more than a strong player is inaccurate. It goes from taking a day or so, to taking a over a week for the average human. Some people obviously make it look easy, but most are not such prolific attackers.
EDIT:
We have a number of options.
#1. Make the leaderboard count attacks rather than exp gained from them.
#2. Make exp gain DECREASE if you hit lower level enemies, forcing you to seek out people your own size. This would work, but it will make it astronomically harder for many players to level.
#3. Check the formulae to make sure that exp gain is not reducing the total attacks a player has to do between levels. It should act as a slight aid, but you should still require more attacks per level gained. I think it's working fine, but it would be wise to check.
#4. Leave leaderboard as it is, but split it into "leagues" which group players by their levels. That way, you're competing with people who are a similar level to you.
I think you'll always see the most activity on the leaderboard amongst the higher levels because, well, they clearly know how to attack and have proven it in the past by actually reaching a high level. I realise that this isn't your complaint, but it's worth remembering

Your skill at talking is most impressive, but must you so blatantly flaunt it?
