LOL. Wanted to make sure we were talking about the same thing. But you do get my point I hope.

yes, but...
it doesn't really have that big of an effect... I mean, you could always just check "who is online"...
and the longer the browse players page is cached, the less often all the low level inactives will get mixed up while a person is attacking

I know you can check the 'who is online' page. But it's counter-productive to do that... I mean when you're ma**-attacking, it's nice to see if X is online *before* actually going to his profile and without going to the who is online page.

hmm... when using browse players, you check the profile page? that's inefficient on it's own
you know could just mouse over his credits to see how much he has unbanked, if that's what you're doing it for, right?

I think I wasn't very clear in my last post: I meant when I ma**-attack, I open the players table and open a tab for each of the players. I do this because I want to go on the profile page to check not only for unbanked credits, but for cast skills as well. This determines the number of turns I use and whether I attack at all. Plus, I really find it funny to take a look at the victim's profile. Sometimes I can find out useful stuff doing so.
Having an 'outdated' browse players table is inefficient and dangerous, because when I gather a lot of credits I start contemplating the idea of banking them or holding them in pocket for a little longer. This is the 2nd time when the players table comes in handy, when I check to see if the players ranking higher than me and who hit me more than 12 hours before are 'orange' or 'yellow'.
Of course, you'll argue that I can use the 'who is online' page for this purpose - but having all those colors and avatars there in one page can be tiring -- seeing the names colored differently in the table and having this table updated once every 5 minutes is way better.

off topic... you check for cast skills to decide whether to attack or not? I mean, the next highest person you can attack is si levels lower than you (oh, and even more off topic, congrats on level 90)

hmmm...
maybe... no, probably I am just slow today, but if you check the profile pages anyways, can't you just read if they are online or not right next to their name?
I think I am missing something here... could you explain further?
edit: oh, wait- you use it to see if a person is going to attack you again
you could open their profile pages to see
I think a lot of people benefit from the inactives not getting mixed up... I mean, it even happens to me sometimes just going down to level 20, and although it is a smart thing that you do, I'm not sure how many people also do that (though they should)
