FF 3.0.5, Linux.

Haven't you downloaded MSCoreFonts? They are a set of freeware fonts used by most of the Internet. Using them in ubuntu is a one line command...

There is no excuse not to use them as they only get used when something actually wants them, like most websites.

Aye, I have them, of course.

...Although all my browsers use by default sans-serif fonts. Everywhere (I can't stand serif font... only in printed books).

Why do you say this... are the fonts supposed to look different than the ones in my screenshot in the 'real world'? (smiley)

Anyway, after you posted the 'what browser' question, I checked again and noticed the upgrade items page renders fine now. And I suspect it wasn't a font face problem, but a missing scroll bars one for the "Information" panel in the Upgrade Items page.

No, the text fits the box on every browser tested in windows. Your computer seems to be using alternate fonts, which isnt a crime, but it is quite strange that they aren't the same dimensions.
