i like the idea of reputation and karma; it brings yet another level of uniqueness to the game, but I think there should be a LOT of territories before it's implemented.  If there are not many varieties, chances are good that one will be better than the rest and everyone will flock to follow along the same footsteps, but if there's a wide variety then it will be more likely that people start their own trade and makes more variety.

yeah, that makes sense. if there's not many different paths to follow, there will be too many of the exact same reputation (people following the exact same paths).

Yes, I agree with you. That's why I'm holding off on it for a few months.
