I was just browsing the guilds' list today and I noticed a few guilds with '0/x/5' members.

A few were "0/1/5", meaning that the only member of that guild (with enough place for 5 people) is inactive.

The problem, however, is that there are currently 2 guilds with "0/0/5". Their leaders are deleted players. I suppose they were banned or something.

Here's what I think: if the leader of a guild is deleted, then:

- if there is at least one other member in that guild, then transfer the leadership to this player (if there are more, just trasnfer it to the first in descending rank order and/or level... or something);
- if there is, however, NO other member in that guild, it should get deleted.

It makes no sense to have an empty guild. If you want to "join" it then your application is showed as 'pending' - but there's no need for that, since the guild has no leader to accept or deny your join request.

Guilds with no members(because I've deleted them on a whim), or guild with no active players are deleted on tuesdays(smiley)

So, don't worry, they'll be swept up automatically It is possible to manually transfer ownership to another guild member. If you can't be bothered to do that, the guild is going to be in bad shame.

However, I don't think it's the games duty to change ownership automatically. I much prefer the guild to die terribly, as it should for having incompetent leadership.

What do you think?(smiley)

I imagined you could transfer ownership. This would apply if a guild leader would just retire or would go on a long holiday. I only find things normal to happen this way.

The problem - the situation that I thought it required automatic deletion of the guild (but each Tuesday works fine I guess) - has 2 prerequisites: a) the guild leader is the only member; b) that specific player gets deleted.

However - if you have a guild ran by some who gets deleted, what do you suppose will happen to everybody in that guild, supposing they don't have any kind of ownership and can't take back the points and items they donated to the guild vault and they can't use the points to upgrade the guild, either? Should they be condemned, no, obliged, to leave that guild behind just because their leader was a(n) (smiley) ?

True. It's easy enough for me to manually pa** ownership on, and I have done on a few occasions. It's not as good as it falling to the second in command, but then, what how would the game know who that individual is?(smiley)

Yes, you're right here... highest rank (in guild ranks) after the deleted player doesn't necessarily mean a dedicated individual, and then again, the highest level player in that guild is not necessarily the best choice either.

It's probably best to manually deal with such rare circumstances.
