- Question regarding scammers
Sun Oct 19 17:57:28 EDT 2008
Hey. Right now I'm so tired and so mad, I can't think properly nor search properly (how 'bout a search feature on the forums, by the way?) - so I wanted to ask here if somebody could guide me towards the scammers thread that I'm _sure_ I saw a week back (maybe).
I've just been scammed for 2.5 million credits and I want to shout my rage out loud in the scammers thread... I just can't seem to find it right now.
Thank you.

The scamming is not fair, but what can I do?
Should I suspend them? Perhaps they should not be suspended, but hit with a huge penalty.
For instance, a terrible curse that makes them loose money and exp and puts a SCAMMER!!! icon above their head?
They are all a bunch of small children from the same area. I suggest that NOBODY trades with people who their allies/known friends don't know.
Especially low level players - do not trade with low level players unless they can spell properly.
I sent you 100 points earlier today, by sheer coincidence
It's just as well I did because otherwise you'd be out of pocket.

Well, call me infantile... but hell yeah! a SCAMMER!!! icon above their head would be like... mwhahah. Seriously now - scammers are spoiling all the fun and it's not nice to know they get out clean (regardless of my stupidity in the first place, to allow myself to be scammed).

Erm.... I thought about this too but ignored it nevertheless

Hahaha yeah I thought about it indeed, extremely lucky coincidence -- thanks again!
I just posted the 'love story' between me and my scammer in the scammers' list that was pointed out to me earlier by Dogmeat. Read and shake in disgust
