Isn't it technically a bug though?

Not really, it's more of an a**et to playing than a bug.

From your point of view it's probably a bug because it's not meant to happen but it's so much easier to work with than having to watch a whole fight, especially it you're ma**-attacking.

The attacking results are subject to the same templating regime as the rest of the site.
It is entirely possible to have multiple result layouts.

You could have the scrolling results, the new one, even a quick one that just tells you whether you won or not.
However, I would need to think a lot about this before I considered allowing players to change them as a preference.
I don't want to encourage extremely fast attacking, thought I know it happens on every game.

Well i think if you look at it from the benefits of very fast attacking, maybe instead of having a pause in between attacks you could lose out on some money regarding your preference settings, or more turns used, or have a limit to how many you can attack.

The pause is to give the server some peace, it's not punishment for fast attackers(smiley)
