No more than given by pvp attacks.
It'll be tougher to implement then... I would think you'd want to make it a touch better than pvping, that way people don't use the attack pages and rather would attack monsters.
No, it's going to be the same. It is more than enough exp from pvp attacks, so it should be just as acceptable for npcs.
Everybody keeps trying to make things more complicated for me

What's wrong with using the same formulae and not having separate functions for every single eventuality

I'm not trying to complicate things for you! Now that the swift kill attack system is in place, I don't see why any one would start using the world to grow instead.
I'm only trying to help. =[
I suppose I'm relying on dropped items as the main incentive. Plus, npcs reappear throughout the day. Players don't

This is why I attack in the world - run out of players and i only have about 8 k experience. the world helps exp keep going up

LATER EDIT: Scratch that. I just got to level 34 without knowing that you can attack NPCs for a user-definable number of turns. I must be sucking big time

Heck, I only added that option a few days ago

Really? Excellent! I thought I was the stupid one around. When I was just a little level (18 or something) I was amazed at how JD managed to have so many attacks so I asked him who exactly did he attack. He said NPCs mainly and admitted he didn't know of any way to reduce the turns from 5 to 1. It was too darn expensive for me - at 60 turns approximately that I had then I could only attack 12 NPCs per hour this way.
So I didn't check in the personal preferences page... until today, when I wanted to write something in my profile description and noticed this.
Thumbs up for this option!! It was really... uhh... BAD to have to spend 5 turns for, say, a small pirate spider
