I would throw in an idea, about "Widgets" to Android phones and other smartphones as well..
Different library of widgets, where you could choose the one that fills your needs, or simply use the ones you want to ! 
I'd prefer one that would alert me when my turns fill up to maximum 
Also a experience counter, that would show your current % and the % to next level would be nice
Someone would like for example this kind of widget, when your guild is gonna have a raid, it would quickly show a flashing button on your Android's mainscreen, that shows "1 Open raid to join" etc.
I think there would be a nice number of different widgets what someone could create, to us who use phone more than pc

Yeah, this is something we've thought about in the past.
What kind of features would people like to see in this app/widget?
I made 3 different Windows Vista gadgets, held onto them because I wasn't sure how much demand there'd be, and now Windows 8 doesn't support them
Making a live tile looks like a nightmare. You need a special certificate just to load them onto your own machine. :/
But Android widgets, sure, I'd consider those.
