Another error... more "serious" i.e. it just cost me 10 turns and 1 brain fish!!!!
It bit, I reeled in, and while waiting for the 'keep/drop' question, this is what I got:

it should work on a psp. I play on a Wii and sadly, psp is more advanced than a Wii.
I don't know if fishing is going to work on your psp glorgoth.
If it works sometimes, that's lucky enough
Also, if it lasts more than 30 seconds, you've probably got a problem, so don't wait 5 minutes next time

I did also get the animation and the message that I was reeling in the fish, but it just went on for about 5 minutes before I gave up on it.

Perhaps, but the Web Browser is better on the Wii, as far as I know.
